Precision in real conditions

For E. Gfrörer & Sohn Schotterwerk GmbH & Co. KG in Empfingen, we implemented a MOGENSEN MSizer in a multi deck design. The system is precisely tailored to the requirements on site and delivers reliable performance in daily operation. After more than 30 years of service, the MSizer, which was manufactured in 1993, has now been replaced by the new solution due to its age.

The focus is on the classification of dolomite and shell limestone in a particle range from 0.1 to 5.0 mm.

Performance in operation

In continuous operation, the system processes

• 35 tons per hour of dolomite

• 50 tons per hour of shell limestone

Even under demanding conditions, the MSizer operates in a stable and reliable manner.

What makes the MSizer stand out

• Five stainless steel decks ensure precise separation

• Robust and vibration resistant design for smooth operation

• Two powerful unbalance motors with 4.8 kW each

• Low dust design for a clean environment

• Flexible adjustment of screen media to individual requirements

This design ensures consistent material distribution and high separation accuracy.

Installation under special conditions

A key highlight of this project was the installation.

The roof of a building around 30 meters high was opened to position the machine. Using a crane, the MOGENSEN MSizer was precisely lifted and placed through the opening. A special situation that was executed smoothly through careful planning and close coordination.
